As tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran continue, military operations in the region have intensified. According to recent reports, U.S. forces conducted a special operation inside Iranian territory last night, successfully rescuing downed pilots and evacuating them safely. Meanwhile, mutual missile and air strikes between the sides продолжаются, with Iran launching retaliatory attacks toward Israel and Gulf countries. The deadline of the ultimatum given by U.S. President Donald Trump to Iran expires on April 6.
Political analyst Ahmad Shahidov stated in an interview with ARB24 that the U.S. operation to rescue the pilots once again demonstrated the military capability and operational superiority of the American army: “The safe extraction of two American pilots from Iranian territory is a clear indication of the U.S. military’s advanced coordination and technological strength. This suggests that Iran’s ability to resist in potential large-scale operations would be limited.”
Ahmad Shahidov emphasized that the current conflict cannot continue indefinitely and that Iran must reach an agreement with the United States in the near term: “Iranian territory is currently under регуляр air strikes. If no agreement is reached within the declared timeframe, particularly regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States may take harsher measures. This could lead to serious consequences for Iran’s energy infrastructure and strategic facilities.”
