“A peace treaty with Armenia is not expected in the coming months” – Dr. Ahmad Shahidov spoke to ARB24 channel

In the first days of 2025, hopes are again focused on the peace process in the South Caucasus. The Armenian side is not yet taking real steps to sign a peace treaty. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is trying to prolong the process and hopes that major powers will intervene in the region.

Speaking to ARB24 Television on the subject, political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov said that today the attention of the whole world is focused on the inauguration of the newly elected US President Donald Trump on January 20. It seems that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is also hoping for the help of the new US administration in order to change the current reality in the region.
