On September 28, the Winter Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe continued its work in Strasbourg, France. After the Azerbaijani delegation’s activities in PACE were frozen last year, anti-Azerbaijani forces in PACE have become significantly more active. It is expected that new decisions will be adopted and new restrictions will be imposed against Azerbaijan in this Winter Session.
Human rights defender Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, who is currently in Strasbourg, France and closely participating in the PACE Winter Session, provided information about the work they are doing to adequately defend Azerbaijan.
