On September 29, the Winter Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe continued its work in Strasbourg, France. Resolution No. 2580, announced by the Monitoring Committee on the results of 2024, harshly criticized Azerbaijan. It was claimed that human rights and democracy were violated in the country and the unconditional release of Karabakh separatists was demanded.
Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, a human rights defender who is currently in Strasbourg, France and closely participating in the PACE Winter Session, gave an interview to Baku TV and spoke about the resolution No. 2580 adopted against Azerbaijan.
