Today — on September 27, Remembrance Day, ARB24 Television’s “Agenda” program discussed Azerbaijan’s military operations during the 44-day Second Karabakh War, its diplomatic activities, the promotion of its just cause in world media, and the post-war peace process. The program also highlighted the peace summit held at the White House on August 8.
As a guest of the program, political commentator Ahmad Shahidov stated that Azerbaijan’s just struggle was carried out not only on the battlefield but also at the diplomatic table and in the international information space. According to him, as a result of this multifaceted struggle, Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity in a short time, and the world was compelled to accept the new geopolitical reality created by Azerbaijan.
Ahmad Shahidov particularly emphasized the role of President Ilham Aliyev, saying: “President Ilham Aliyev, as head of state, Supreme Commander-in-Chief, and a visionary politician, personally led the military operations. His decisive decisions and numerous interviews with the world media conveyed Azerbaijan’s just voice across the globe. This strengthened both the ideological and diplomatic foundations of our historic victory.”
