Ahmad Shahidov showed interest to the Republic of Lithuanian experiences on human rights
Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) held a meeting with Raimondas Šukys, Ombudsmen of Lithuania in Vilnius on September 26. Talking about the state of human rights in Lithuania and activities of Seimas Ombudsmen Office, Raimondas Šukys further elaborated on national minorities and investigation mechanism of complaints submitted by the citizens.
Having interested in Lithuanian experiences on human rights, head of AIDHR Ahmad Shahidov touched on the state of human rights in Azerbaijan and voiced his hope on building up collaboration between AIDHR and Ombudsmen Office of the Republic of Lithuania.
