UN four resolutions to be mentioned at OSCE conference, armenian journalists’ protested

Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media conference on Journalists’ Safety, Media Freedom and Pluralism in Times of Conflict has kicked off in Vienna, Austria on June 15. The conference has been accompanied by the heated debates and discussions on wars of information and propaganda.

Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) has also joined the conference. In his remarks he touched upon information war between Azerbaijan and Armenian by adding that sometimes biased information is disseminated against Azerbaijan. In his remarks Head of AIDHR underscored that representatives of some mainstream mass media organisations travel to Nagorno Karabakh, misinterpretation of Azerbaijan map, by this they wage information war against Azerbaijan.

He also noted UN four resolutions related to Nagorno Karabakh and occupied territories. His speech made Armenian journalists resentful and they protested to Ahmad Shahidov. Armenian journalists even went further to share slandering messages against Ahmad Shahidov on official Twitter page of the OSCE.
