Head of AIDHR conveyed his condolences to the Georgian former president on floods in Tbilisi
Following a series of panels and discussions the 10th annual GLOBSEC 2015 Bratislava Global Security Forum was ended on June 21 with a reception held in honour of guests. The participants to the reception had informal discussions during the closing ceremony.
Attending the reception Ahmad Shahidov, Head of AIDHR held a meeting with Mikheil Saakashvili, Georgian former president who is currently governor of the Odessa region, Ukraine. Conveying his condolences to his excellences and Georgian nation, Ahmad Shahidov shared his viewpoints with regard to Ukraine.
For his part, Mikheil Saakashvili expressed his gratitude to Mr. Shahidov and touched upon Georgian- Azerbaijan strong fraternal ties. He also noted that Azerbaijan turned to be a leading country in the region. Aftermath, Governor of the Odessa talked about measures carried in Odessa.
