Human rights advocate held discussions with H.E. Ambassadors of Northern Cyprus and Turkey to Qatar
As a part of his official visit to Qatar, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights Ahmad Shahidov met with Aytug Fazil Plumer, Ambassador of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to Qatar on September 17. Being received by Ambassador Head of AIDHR recalled his recent visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and shared his impressions. Presenting a book “Zero Point” to H.E. Ambassador, Head of AIDHR took an interest on negotiations on annexation of Cyprus.
Aftermath Ahmad Shahidov held a meeting with Turkish Ambassador to Qatar, Ahmet Demirok. Touching on fraternal relations between the two countries, Mr. Shahidov conveyed his concerns over the recent incidents in Turkey. He noted that Azerbaijan is always stands by Turkey. For his part, Ahmet Demirok warmly welcomed Head of AIDHR and voiced importance of strengthening fraternal ties between the two countries.
